An Ayurvedic Approach to Pregnancy + Postpartum
Pregnancy is a transformative time in a woman's life; it's a time of growth and transition. Learn how this ancient holistic practice honors this process by nurturing maternal and infant development.
I will discuss the different ways to integrate Ayurveda into the birth experience, and the importance of easing the mother's load by reducing internal and external stresses so that she and her developing baby can experience more harmonious cyclical changes and also have a gentler recovery and healing time postpartum.
This class will include a brief intro to Ayurveda, Ayurvedic Diet, the elemental shifts and how to adjust through the Four Trimesters, as well as a List of Postpartum Meals by the Weeks, New Born Care + Baby Massage Instruction, as well as a list of resources and recipes.
