My Story

Born, raised, and living in Brooklyn, New York , I understand and embrace the overwhelming demands and stresses that city life puts on families. I am inspired and passionate about providing families and individuals with the resources, empathetic support and nurturing to maintain a balanced life.

I’m a Birth Worker and Health Coach, whose practice integrates both modern and traditional care rooted in the holistic and elemental principles of Ayurveda. I attribute my passion for holistic healing + the importance of the "mind-body” connection to my parents. My mother, a meditator + father, an herbalist, introduced me to Meditation and Ayurveda early on in life.

My services include: Doula support for pregnancy + postpartum. Holistic coaching and support for fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. Ayurvedic consultations + meal prep/planning. Holistic nutrition education, and meditation.

After struggling with hormonal imbalances and anxiety in my twenties, I was determined to find balance and heal. I drew upon the tools that my parents instilled in me. I adopted a daily Ayurvedic practice incorporating meditation, breathwork, yoga, and healthy eating into my routine. This had such a transformative effect that it moved me to study under some of the most influential Ayurvedic teachers in the US and India including— Vasant Lad founder and director of the Ayurvedic Institute, The National Ayurvedic Medical Association's Hilary Garivaltis, The Institute of Culinary Education's Richard Lamarita, and Vaidya Dr. A.V. 'Krishna' Raju.

I completed my DONA Postpartum doula certification and Birth Doula training with the renowned Debra Pascali-Bonaro, followed by an internship at, Healthy Mother & Natural Birth Sanctum in Hyderabad, India- an affiliate clinic of the International MotherBaby Childbirth Organization. There I provided gentle birth + postpartum support to women under the guidance of Dr. Vijaya Krishnan and some of the leading midwives in the country. My experience at the clinic was so heartfelt and life-changing that it has motivated and inspired me to work towards improving maternal and infant health and create a ripple effect of positive change for a brighter future.

I have had the honor to work with hundreds of families and individuals from around the world and have come to learn that regardless of who I’m working with, there is always a common thread. Irrespective of peoples' background or profession, we are all intrinsically connected. Additionally, when it comes to starting a family, nature inevitably prevails.

After over a decade of working as a design director in the retail industry, I arrived at a crossroads. I felt the need to find a more aligned way, to share my time by supporting and contributing to my community. My experience working within a diverse range of communities has been invaluable; I continue to learn so much about myself and how to nurture the development of others. I am deeply grateful to all of my teachers and the life experiences that have brought me to this moment.
